MAYA has implemented processes designed to protect user information and maintain data security. Each account holder is assigned a unique username and password, which are required to access their account. You are responsible for keeping this login information secure. We protect MAYA's servers by placing them in areas with security procedures, using firewalls and implementing security technologies such as TLS encryption, encrypted password and others. These safeguards help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure its proper use. However, there is no guarantee that your information and data will be safe from intrusion and unauthorized distribution to third parties.

As part of the MAYA services, we store the forms you build and any data that was collected from those forms. The data collected from these forms may include personally identifiable information (also known as PII or personal data) such as names, email addresses, physical addresses, and phone numbers. Your information is used strictly for internal purposes such as providing support, billing, completing event registrations, dues payments, and organization communications. MAYA will not distribute or sell your information to a 3rd party, except as disclosed in this statement. Data will be retained for as long as the Data Controller (MAYA’s customer) deems necessary. If you withhold any personal data requested by the Data Controller, it may not be possible for you to gain access to certain parts of the MAYA system. When you submit information, you are transferring such information into the United States and you hereby consent to such transfer.
3. Account Information
We collect email addresses from those who contact us via email and ask for personal information such as your email address and name when you sign up for an account with MAYA. The information we collect is not distributed or sold to a 3rd party. It will only be used to communicate with you about your MAYA account, and where needed as part of certain MAYA features. If you withhold any personal data requested by MAYA, it may not be possible for you to gain access to certain parts of the MAYA system. You may update your account information at any time.
4. Web Server Logs
For statistical purposes, MAYA will gather certain information automatically and store it in log files.
